"android is upgrading, and afterwards it came optimizing application 1 of 158", later came as starting apps then tecno will come and the upgrading starts again for more than 24 hours. i need a solution to stop it and have access to the phone. i cant do anything with the phone so please give me the right solution. I started getting this android is starting....optimizing apps 1 of 1. after reading this thread, i found the problem to be zedge. i've used this app for about 6 years, then a recent forced update started causing the error, making my phone take about 15 minutes to boot. i uninstalled zedge and got rid of the problem.. Every time i reboot my lg g4 i get the android is starting. optimizing app 1 of 1... and takes about 15 minutes to finish each time. just goes to android is starting.. for 15 mins. just came back from lg "refurb". last time i buy this junk. this phone has been back to them 3 times since i've owned it for the same bootloop issue..
Your question can actually be interpreted a couple of ways: (1) your device is displaying “optimizing apps” on every boot; or (2) the “optimizing apps” notification is displaying after an update or a factory data reset. in any event, i'll try and answer this question under either scenario.. "optimising app 1 of 1" on reboot or power on "optimising app 1 of 1" on reboot or power on started by: "android is starting: optimising app 1 of 1" where it gets stuck. my phone often crashes and it can take over 5 attempts to get it to load properly. (android figure lying on his back), press and hold the power button then press and. I just had the same exact issue on the same exact phone. after doing some digging it seems like this happens when android has a problem optimizing one or more apps, so it stubbornly retries all of them. so i uninstalled apps one-by-one and rebooted, and the problem went away after uninstalling supersu..
